Swing Thoughts For 7/13/2023

On July 4 th  Memorial Park Golf Club had its Members Flag Tournament.  1 st  Dick Cannode, 2 nd  Harold Hayes and 3 rd  Dean Brim.

On July 6 th  we hosted the Annual Heart of Ohio Junior Tournament. 49 juniors participated.  It was a good day for all.

On July 8 th  we hosted the Annual Polar Bear Legacy Outing- 1 st  place with -17 was Cory Hayter, Nick Zacariah, Russ Wallace and Bill Johnson; 2 nd  place with -16 was the team of Shepherd, Summa, Grieshimer and Dye.

There were first place ties in both divisions of the Senior League this week. John Connolly and Duane Davis tied in the B flight and Doug Camper and Floyd Vermillion tied in the A flight.  Floyd Vermillion and Duane Davis continue to lead in the overall standings.

The weekly winners in the Senior League were Duane Davis and a tie between Marv Sallee and Floyd Vermillion.  The overall leaders are Duane Davis and Floyd Vermillion.  The weekly skills winner was Doug Roberts.
